Kenneth W. Hicks 1914 ~ 2007 Kenneth W. Hicks, 93, of Moncton passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Friday October 12, 2007. Born in Midgic, he was the son of the late Hedley and Ida (Fillmore) Hicks. Ken was a former carpenter and was retired from Lounsbury Truck Division, Moncton. He was a member of Parkside Baptist church. Ken will be sadly missed by his sons, Norman (Sheila), Saint John, Richard (Ann), Sackville, Larry (Eva), Moncton, Philip (Karen), Brookfield, NS. Ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren; sister, Hilda Brooks, Springhill, NS; brothers, Cecil (Vivian), Sackville, Guptil (Marjorie), Quispamsis. Several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Ruby (Ayer) Hicks (2006); daughter, Carol; brother, Howard; sisters, Sylvia, Glenara. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Sunday October 14, 2007, 2pm until the time of the service at 4pm at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Jim Alley officiating. Interment, Four Corners Cemetery, Middle Sackville.
