HÉBERT, MARGARET KATHLEEN Deal me in Annie, I'm coming home. Margaret enjoyed nothing more than going to church on Saturdays with her sister Annie, when she was alive, at St. Anthony's then spending the evening playing cards with their friends. Margaret made it to her 80th birthday on September 15 and celebrated with family and friends then left us on October 11th to be with her heavenly family. She had a relatively short journey with cancer compared to some and was blessed with having very little discomfort. We were also blessed with having her with us longer than anyone thought possible. When her life ended and her journey home began her daughter and grandson were at her side. Waiting to greet her are her parents, Leo and Mary (Owens) Chambers; her dear sister Annie Foster, brother Nick Chambers, niece and nephew, Eleanor and Walter Foster. She has one surviving brother ,Reggie (Lorraine) Chambers and a sister-in-law, Betty Chambers in Ontario. Left to celebrate her life here in Fredericton is her only daughter, Wendy and husband John Hoël, grandchildren, Stacey and Nicholas Logan and a special great granddaughter, MacKenzie Logan. A niece Mary Case and her nephew, Jack Foster (Janine). Her three sons Brian (Sue) of Hay River, NWT, Robin and his daughters, Arwen and Zyre (Charlie) and his grandchildren, Aaron, Merwin and Cian of Edmonton and Patrick and his children, Calin, Arielle and Eveleen of Grande Cache, AB I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Dr. Achla Pond for her care, home visits and compassion during this part of the journey and also my appreciation for the care and kindness shown to me and my family during her stay in the Palliative Care Unit. Last but not least to my special friends of M.P.N who have supported us since the beginning with either words, prayers or spending time with us at the hospital, its been quite a roller coaster ride. Visitation will be held at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Sunday evening, October 14 from 6 to 9 pm. Due to allergies, no flowers and please don't wear any scented products. Peace lilies will be gratefully received and donations may be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, CIBC Run for the Cure, a cause my mother and I both supported. Her life will be celebrated by Father Monte Peters at St. Anthony's Parish on Union Street, Monday, October 15 at 4 pm with a reception to follow. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com October 13, 2007
