KARAU, Edwin Robert Ernest - Passed away at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Monday, September 24, 2007 in his 95th year. Edwin Karau of Pembroke, beloved husband of Berndena (nee Kumm). Dearly loved father of Eileen Burke (David Grace), Chalk River and late infant son Robert. Dear brother of Dora Schutt (late Verner), Pembroke; Irene Mau (late Herb), Ottawa; Elsa Monck (late Herb), London; and Frieda Kumm (late Walter), Pembroke. Pre- deceased by sisters Rosa Kelo (late Solomon); Hilda Karau and brothers Henry Karau; Edward Karau and Fred Karau (late Selma). Also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Visitation at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. at the Grace Lutheran Church, Locksley.
