ALWARD, Eva, Dorothy (Mohns) - Born September 16, 1926, died August 16, 2007. Eva was born and raised in Pembroke, Ontario. She raised her family with her husband Fred in the Mohns family home, which was a favourite gathering place of neighbourhood children. She cared for Fred during his many years of illness, and four years after his passing moved to London, Ontario where she resided with her grandson and his wife, Jeff and Melanie Alward for two years before moving to Longworth Long Term Care. While residing at Longworth, Eva volunteered many hours of her time delivering the mail and newspapers and visiting other residents. She was a familiar and welcoming face. Predeceased by her husband Fred, son Jeffrey, granddaughter Gilliam, sister Val (P.J). She will be sadly missed by her children Dave (Rose), Danny of Alberta, Cindy Kruger, and her grandchildren Jeff (Melanie), Jennifer Hodgson (Neil) of Alberta, Jason (Amanda) of Alberta, Marc (Amie) of Alberta, Trevor of Alberta, Amber of Eganville, Ocean, Lawson, great grandchildren Ryleigh and Delaney of Alberta, her sister Marion (Lorne) of Pembroke. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at Wesley United Cemetery on Boundary Rd, Pembroke, Ontario, on Saturday, November 3rd, 2007 at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Longworth LTC Family Council, 590 Longworth Rd, London, Ontario N6K 4X9, would be appreciated. 10844234
