BETTERIDGE, Pearl Pauline (nee Pulak) - of Bright's Grove passed away on Sunday October 14, 2007 at Bluewater Health - Palliative Care. Beloved wife of Leslie Roy Betteridge for 59 years. Loving mother to Barbara Morgan and her husband George of Sarnia and Gregory Betteridge and friend Amanda of Whitney. Also survived by her grandson Kevin Berdan of Windsor, granddaughter Tracy Peterson of Sarnia, great grandchildren Robyn and Ethan Peterson and many nieces and nephews. Beloved sister of Emil Pulak and his wife Joan of Brampton, Mary Pirie of Thornton and Elizabeth Mills of Thunder Bay. Predeceased by her brother Ernie Pulak and her sister Stella Doyle. An angel passed away on Sunday after a very courageous and hard fought battle with cancer. She was strong for herself and the family she loved so much. Pearl was truly a saint as she loved deeply and was a great friend to many. She belonged to the St. Joseph's Hospital Auxiliary for which she was awarded her 35 year pin. She was a long time employee of Williams Pastry Shop where she made many friends. She loved garage sales where many people recognized her as “the Williams Pastry Lady“. Rest easy Mom and may you find the ultimate garage sale in a better place. Visitation will take place at the STEWART FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday, October 17th from 2-4 P.M. Cremation has taken place.
