ACTON, Gerald Devere - Passed away peacefully at the Campbellford Memorial Hospital on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Irene Gertrude (Canam) for 65 years. Loving father of Gerald Acton Jr. (Joanne), Brenda Doucette (Jack), Gloria Lank (Garry), Charles (Phyllis), Philip (Sharon), Sharon Best (Lou) and Trudie Allen (Wayne). He will be dearly missed by 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great- grandchildren and 25 nieces and nephews. Gerald is survived by his sisters Glenna Patterson and Attie Broad, both of New Brunswick. He was a WWII veteran and an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion in New Brunswick. Memorial Service will be held at Havelock United Church on Friday, October 26 at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow. 10876356
