DONAIS, Delvina (nee Ouellette) - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Saturday, October 6, 2007 in her 79th year. Beloved wife of Philippe (Pete) for 56 years. Cherished mother of Elaine (Maurice) Devlaminck of Merlin, Brian (Denise) of Chatham, Deb (Francis) Hermsen of Wallaceburg, Janet and Joyce both of London. Loving mémé of Brandon, Krystin, Lauren, Heather Hermsen and Tyler Hermsen. Predeceased by parents Edmond (1970) and Elmira (nee Lajeunesse) (1985). Dear sister of Armand (Cecile) of Dearborn, MI, Lillian (Leo) Dupuis of Petrolia, Leo (Toni) of Chatham and predeceased by brothers Romeo (2006), Omer (1935) and Alfred (1935). Also survived by many special in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Del was a member of the Tilbury K-Cettes and the Catholic Women's League. She was an avid dancer, golfer and card player. Special thank you to the staff at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance including Dr. DePass, Dr. Bryan, Dr. Button and all the caring nurses. A special thank you to Fr. Frank Leslie who visited daily. Visitors will be received at the REAUME FUNERAL HOME, 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. C.W.L prayers Tuesday at 2 p.m. Parish Prayers Tuesday at 7:15 p.m. followed by Tilbury K-Cette prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral service from the funeral home Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. then to St. Francis Xavier Church for Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in St Francis Xavier Cemetery. Please do not wear perfume, cologne or scented hair products as a family member is severely allergic. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
