BETTESWORTH, Carole Diane - Devoted and loving wife of Harvey Bettesworth, passed away on Thursday October 11, 2007 at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in her 72nd year after a valiant battle with cancer. Carole and Harvey were married September 22, 1962 and are thankful for 45 years of shared happiness. Predeceased by her loving parents, Laura Mona (nee Trusdale) and James Leonard Young, and by her brother James Robert Young, all of Brantford. Survived by sisters-in-law Betty Young of Brantford and Beatrice Bettesworth of London, nephews David, Paul and Graham Young, all of Brantford, niece Dianne Young of Toronto, Melaine Young of Ancaster, and numerous cousins. Carole is resting at the W.J. CAVILL FUNERAL HOME in Gravenhurst with visitation on Sunday October 14, 2007 2-4 P.M. For the convenience of out-of-town friends and relatives, visitation will also be available at Trinity United Church, Gravenhurst on Monday October 15, 2007 1-2 P.M. Funeral services will be held at Trinity United Church, 290 Muskoka Road North, Gravenhurst on October 15, 2007 at 2 P.M. Cremation to follow. Interment of Carole's ashes in the family plot at Farringdon Burial Ground, Brantford will follow at a later date.
