VILLENEUVE, Ghislain “ Ti-père “ (1943 - 2007) - C'est avec regret que la famille annonce son décès, à l'Hpital Général du Nipissing Ouest, Sturgeon Falls, le vendredi 12 octobre 2007, à l'âge de 64 ans. Fils de feu Arthur et de feu Yvonne (née Bergeron) Villeneuve, il est prédécédé par sa compagne, Sylvie Tétreault. Il est le père bien-aimé de Daniel (Lysa) de North Bay, David (Allyson) de Red Lake et de Karen Hotte (Denis) d'Orillia. Son souvenir restera gravé dans la mémoire de ses petits- enfants, Zacharie, Braeden, Mackenzie et Alexie Villeneuve et Jessie et Megan Hotte. Cher frère d'Hector (Henriette) et Cléo tous deux de Sturgeon Falls, Richard (Nelda) de Guelph, Noëlla Varabioff (Jim) de North Bay, Frida Hakojarvi (George) de Sudbury et Marielle Hurtubise de Hammond. Bénévole auprès du mouvement Scouts pendant 25 ans, Ghislain était également membre du Club Calumet et membre du Conseil d'administration de la Fondation de l'Hpital Général du Nipissing Ouest. Serviable et disponible, Ghislain, se plaisait à conduire et à accompagner les patients à leurs rendez-vous médicaux à titre de bénévole pour la Société Canadienne du Cancer. La famille accueillera parents et amis à la Paroisse La Résurrection, Sturgeon Falls, le mardi 16 octobre 2007, de 10 h à 11 h. La messe funéraire aura lieu à 11 h suivie d'une réception au Club Calumet. L'enterrement des cendres aura lieu à 15 h au cimetière. Que vos témoignages de condoléances se traduisent en dons aux Services de cancérologie de l'Hpital Général du Nipissing Ouest. Son of the late Arthur and of the late Yvonne (née Bergeron) Villeneuve. Predeceased by his spouse Sylvie Tétreault. Loving father of Daniel (Lysa) of North Bay, David (Allyson) of Red Lake and Karen Hotte (Denis) of Orillia. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Zacharie, Braeden, Mackenzie, Alexie Villeneuve and Jessie and Megan Hotte. Dear brother of Hector (Henriette) and Cléo both of Sturgeon Falls, Richard (Nelda) of Guelph, Noëlla Varabioff (Jim) of North Bay, Frida Hakojarvi (George) of Sudbury and Marielle Hurtubise of Hammond. Ghislain was a volunteer with the Scouts for over 25 years. He was also a member of the Club Calumet and a member of the Board of Directors of the West Nipissing General Hospital Foundation. He was also a volunteer driver with the Canadian Cancer Society and enjoyed driving patients to their medical appointments. The family will greet friends at La Résurrection Church, Sturgeon Falls, on Tuesday, October 16, 2007 from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. A reception will follow at the Club Calumet and the ceremony for the burial of the ashes will take place at 3 p.m. at the cemetery.
