CROSBY (White), Jessie - 1936-2007 It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our sister, Jessie Crosby on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at her residence in Brantford, Ontario in her 72nd year. Born on March 2, 1936 in Glace Bay, NS, she was the daughter of the late Abraham (1967) and Jessie White (Curtis) (2007). Jessie is survived by her daughter Linda Snow (Brian) of Donkin, NS. She is also survived by sisters Jean Bond, Shirley Bennett, brothers Gordon (Flo) and Abe (Grace), all of Glace Bay, NS; sister Elsie Tracey of Rockville, CT and brothers Allister (Carol) and Lew of Cambridge, ON. She was predeceased by her husband George Crosby (1999), her son Johnnie Kelloway (1991), brothers George and Aubrey and sisters Lavinia and Marion Hall. For many years Jessie worked on the Social Committee at Applegate Community Centre on Tollgate Road, Brantford. She was also a volunteer at the Co-op Food Bank. Cremation has taken place.
