LALONDE, Mr. Gus - A resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Monday, October 15, 2007 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, “Sydenham Campus“, in Wallaceburg, at the age of 78. Gus was born in Wallaceburg and was a son of the late Moise and Rosina (Payette) Lalonde. Beloved husband of Doris Mae Lalonde. Loving father and father-in-law of: Gary & Cathy Lalonde, Margaret Lalonde, Kim & Cherrie Lalonde and Ann Marie & Peter Ross. Sadly missed by his grandchildren: Terra Haggith, Kerry Haggith, David & Rebecca Ross, B.G. Charpentier, Christopher Lalonde and his great grandchildren: Devon Weese, Kennedi Dougas, Dakotta Ross and Brandon Ross. Dear brother and brother-in-law of: Dona & Ruth Lalonde, Dora & Howard Turner, Pat Murphy, Betty Leveille, Jackie & Douglas Myers, Ada & Don Myers, John & Mary Ann Lewis, Elaine Lewis, Douglas & Mona Lewis, Donna Jean & Charles Bechard and Eileen & Lyle Jardine. Predeceased by a granddaughter, Shaunna Ross, brothers and sisters-in-law: Emile & Margaret Lalonde, Emillienne Charpentier, Simonne Laldone, Cecil & Hugh White, Laurette Murphy, Roger Lalonde, brothers-in-law: Charles Leveille, and Lloyd Lewis. Friends will be received at the ERIC F. NICHOLLS FUNERAL HOME LTD. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 18, 2007, in the chapel of the funeral home, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Len Myers, Officiating. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Kidney Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation may be left at the funeral home. As a living memorial, a tree will be planted in Nicholls Memorial Forest in memory of Gus Lalonde. 10865938
