LYONS, Kathleen Isabel - Entered into God's care in Owen Sound on Sunday. October 7th, 2007, at the age of 84 years, the former Kathleen Hopkins of Tobermory, wife of the late Lorne Lyons, mother of Ruth and her husband John Bainbridge of Iqaluit, and Barbara and her husband John Zych of Port Elgin. Grandma to Andrew, Katie and Steve, Stewart and Jamie, Tanya and Scott, and Amy and Scott Great-grandma to Taylor, Eleanor, Anna and Brea, sister of Barney Hopkins and his wife Madelyn of Tobermory. She is predeceased by brothers Harry and Carl Hopkins, and her sister Minerva Lees. Friends may call at Tobermory United Church in Tobermory from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday evening. Funeral service will be conducted in the church on Wednesday at 11 a.m, with the Rev. Susan Shantz officiating. Interment Dunk's Bay Cemetery. Royal Canadian Legion Branch #290 Auxiliary will hold a memorial service in the church on Tuesday evening at 6.45 p.m. Memorial contributions to the Tobermory United Church or to the Grey- Bruce Health Services would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
