POPIT, Roman - After a brief illness, we regretfully announce the sudden passing of Roman Popit on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto. Roman was the beloved husband of Cheryl (Wood), and cherished father of Lindsay and Eric. Lovingly remembered by his parents Maria and Tom and son-in-law Ron and Doreen Wood. Dearest brother of Lydia Horton (Tom) and brother-in-law of Barbara Finkelstein (Leo), Andrew Wood (Priya), Danielle Aitchison (Wayne). Loving uncle of Jacqueline, Victoria, Erica, Michael, David, Heather, Emily, Sophie, Ari and Anna. Roman reached 30 years of dedicated service with Sobeys Inc. Cremation has taken place. Help celebrate his life at NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL 2104 Kipling Ave. (2 blocks North of Rexdale Blvd), Etobicoke, 416-745-7555, on Friday, October 12, 2007 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm until funeral service time at 8 pm.
