SOUTHORN, Carolynn Elizabeth (nee Caunce) - Peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie on Wednesday October 10th 2007, after a mercifully short battle with cancer with family in attendance. Born in Toronto in 1957, Carolyn left us just 10 days short of her 50th birthday. Deeply mourned by husband Michael, father-,in-law Frederick Southorn, sister-in-law Shelley Southorn, her father Ian Caunce, and sister Patricia Anderson. For many years after moving to Barrie, Carolynn worked in the automotive parts supply business and was well known and liked by many in the auto service field. In the year 2002 she enrolled as a mature student at Seneca College and graduated with a diploma in Social Work 3 years later. Friends may call at the STECKLEY- GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME (201 Minet's Point Rd. at Yonge St.), Barrie on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Service in the chapel on Saturday October 13, 2007 at 11:00am. Interment Glendale Memorial Gardens, Toronto. Few of us can say as can be said of Carolynn, that the only harm she ever did to anyone was to herself. Memorial donations in Carolynn's memory may be made to the Royal Victoria Hospital Regional Cancer Care Centre. 10860084
