MOGYORODI, Julius - The family of Julius Mogyorodi of Welland announces, with great sadness, the passing of Julius at the Welland Hospital on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at age 82. He was predeceased by his loving wife Velma in 2001. Beloved father of Gary of Mississauga and his wife Emeline Tjan. Proud grandfather of Adam and Samuel. Julius was an employee at Canada Foundries and Forgings Limited for 45 plus years where he retired as General Foreman. Julius was an avid golfer. He enjoyed his daily crosswords, games of scrabble, and long walks. He was a member of the Welland Senior Citizens Centre. But foremost, Julius was a talented musician. He was a life time member of the St. Catharines Federation of Musicians and played in the St. Catharines Symphony Orchestra. He played the violin and the viola for various orchestras in the Welland area for over 60 years. He and his late brother John also played together at the Hungarian Tavern in Niagara Falls for 17 years. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Welland Hospital who took care of him during his stay there since August. Friends are invited to visit the family at the H.L. CUDNEY FUNERAL HOME, 241 West Main Street, Welland, on Saturday, October 13th from 2- 4 & 7-9 p.m. A private Interment ceremony will be held at the Woodlawn Cemetery on Saturday, October 20th at 11 am. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. 10860871
