MAIURI, Arcangelo “Angelo“ - Passed away at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Sunday October 14, 2007 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of the late Rosa (Fortuna) Maiuri (1997). Lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Roccoantonio (Lena) Maiuri, Giovanni Maiuri and Arduino (Assunta) Maiuri and his sisters Theresa (Bastiano) Viselli and Anna (Arduino) Palleschi. Mr. Maiuri came to Canada from his native Ceprano, Frosinone, Italy in 1934 and worked for the CNR as a car inspector for 43 years, retiring in 1986. He was also a devout parishioner of Our Lady of the Scapular Church. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Scapular Church. Entombment will follow at Fairview Mausoleum. The Vigil for Mr. Maiuri will be celebrated Monday at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
