Angela A. MARALDO

COLLISON, Angela A. (nee Maraldo) - Peacefully, on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at Henderson Hospital at the age of 71. Beloved wife of the late Bob (2004). Loving mother of Bob of Kincardine, ON, Randy (Cindee) of Chilliwack, BC, Ken (Sandie), Rick (Heidi), Michael (Rose) and Lori (Jim). Cherished grandmother of Shannon (Francis), Lisa, Ashley, Alicia, Brandon, Lindsay, Matthew, Brian and Derek Smith. Fondly remembered by Ron Smith. Dear sister of Frank Maraldo (Eleanor) and Richard Maraldo (Sharon). Predeceased by her parents Anthony and Bertha, sister Carol and brother Jerry. In a lifetime dedicated to helping others, Angela was a Registered Nursing Assistant for over 20 years working at GNGH and Dorchester Manor Nursing Home. She was also deeply committed to the Girl Guides of Canada for over 40 years. She was honoured with the Guiding Lifetime Achievement Award for her outstanding leadership and counsel to the female youth of the community. Angela also volunteered her time to several organizations. In her most recent years, she was an active member and Secretary Treasurer of the Coronation Center. Angela rests at the MORSE & SON CHAPEL of the MORGAN FUNERAL HOMES, 5917 Main Street where her family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 22 from 7-9 and on Wednesday, October 23 from 2-4 and 7-9. Afternoon prayers will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Thomas More Church on Thursday morning at 11:00.
