McCARTHY, Eleanor Sadie Hope - Born November 15, 1918, has peacefully gone to be with her Saviour, on Sunday October 21, 2007 at the Sault Area Hospital (Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you.) John 14:27. Founding principal and teacher of Franklin Street School for the Mentally Challenged. Dear wife of the late Roy. Precious and much loved mother of Joan Johnston (Allan), Lorne McCarthy (Lynne), Roy Jr. (late), Marlene Wood (Randy), of North Bay, Janice Reid (Scott), Richard McCarthy (Lisa), of Kamloops, B.C. She will be greatly missed, lovingly remembered and always in our hearts. So long and God Bless. Beloved grandmother of Stephen Johnston (Allyson McGuinty), Suzanne Johnston (Michael Power), Michael Johnston (late) (Pat Lafontaine), Kevin McCarthy (Barb), Shauna VanBoerdonk (Michael), Adam Frattini, Katie Frattini (Clint Campbell), Brendan Wood, Andrew Reid (Tiffany), Brad Reid (Brandi), Lindsay Machinski (Jason), Ryan McCarthy.
