BAXTER, Diane Lynda (nee Kushner) - March 6, 1946 - October 22, 2007. It is with great sadness that her family announce Diane passed away at home with family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her father Peter Kushner, July 1995 and mother, Dorothy Kushner (Parker), September 2007. Her family would like to extend thank you to Dr. Sandra Hartman, St. Elizabeth's Health Care, Para Med Home Health Care and Juravinski Cancer Centre for the outstanding care and compassion given to Diane and her family during the last phase of her life. She leaves behind her family to celebrate and cherish her life, her dedicated and loving husband Anthony (Tony) Baxter of Welland and her loving son Mark Stiles, daughter-in-law Sherry, daughters Patricia and Donna Baxter and son-in-law Rick. Her sister and closest friend Gail Poppe (Mario 1996) and brother David Kushner. Grandmother of Justin Stiles, Ashley, Carly, Randall, and Riley. Sister-in-law of June, Gloria, Joan, Grace, Susan, Pearl, Bonnie, Anne, Eddie and George and their families. Nieces Shelly, April, and Christine (Rob), nephew Jason (Tina) and their families. Diane's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME 585 Carlton Street on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A celebration of Diane's life will be held in the chapel on Friday October 26, 2007 at 4 pm. Cremation to follow.
