FRASER, Judy Lynn June 22, 1952 - October 4, 2007 It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of Judy after a six year battle with cancer. Predeceased by her mother Ella and brothers Geoffrey and Terry, she is survived by her father Arthur John Fraser, brothers Scott, Robin, and sister Jill, and a strong Halifax contingent of Aunts, Uncles and cousins. A special thanks to her Aunt Alice for being the sounding board she needed throughout her treatments. Judy was a 28 year employee with the PWSG and proud recipient of the Commemorative Medals for the 125th Anniversary of Canadian Confederation. We would like to send our extreme gratitude to all those who helped her with this journey. Her many friends that gave her hope, encouragement throughout her ordeal; the calls, cards and visits from the huge circle of friends she had garnered were appreciated each and every one. Thank you's are extended to her various doctors, nurses who took care of her, Dr. Hurdon for making her last weeks at home doable, along with all the Home Care personnel who took such special care of her. At her request, she will be cremated with no official service; we do however, extend an open welcome to those who are able to spend some time reminiscing on Saturday, October 5, between the hours of 1-5 pm at her home: 17 Virgil Road, Nepean, Ontario. Donations may be made to the Ottawa Humane Society or the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre. Published in the Ottawa Citizen on 10/5/2007
