LOWE, Mildred "Millie" (nee Giles) Peacefully in hospital in Almonte on Thursday, October 4, 2007 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Russell Lowe of Almonte. Dear mother of Fred Lowe (Betty) of Pakenham, Sharon Lowe of Renfrew, and Carol McVeety (Ron Bowen) of Almonte. Loving grandmother of Lori Lowe, Kelly Delmer (Kevin), Jullie McVeety & Kevin Lowe, and great-grandmother to Isaac and Hannah Delmer. Dear sister of Willard Giles and sister-in-law of Amy Wagner, Peggy Steen, Elsie Lowe, Isabel Lowe, Paula Giles and Howard Boal. Predeceased by sisters Eleanor Boal & Myrtle McDowall, and brothers Harvey Giles, Jim Giles & Mervin Giles and brothers-in-law Orville McDowall, Art Lowe and Herb Lowe. Millie will be missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Friends may call at the Almonte Chapel of Tubman Kerry Funeral Homes, 154 Elgin Street, Almonte on Tuesday, October 9 from 2 -4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednseday at 1 p.m. Cremation. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Zion United Church, Cedar Hill would be appreciated by the family.
