Barry SHEPPARD

SHEPPARD, Barry Peacefully on Friday, October 5th, 2007 at University Hospital. Barry Sheppard of London in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Lorraine. Dear father of Ann (John Disano) and Brian. Sadly missed by his aunt Agnes Keates, and remembered by his nieces Tanya Mann, Cathy Holsgrove, and his nephews Tim Holsgrove and Dan Holsgrove. Predeceased by his sister Gloria Mann. Barry was educated at Glebe Collegiate, Queens University, and St. Patrick's School of Social Work (Carleton). He taught at the University of Manitoba, Renison College (University of Waterloo) and Sir Wilfred Laurier University. Barry retired after many years as Executive Director/President of the United Way of Greater London. Barry loved life, and had many friends; he loved his garden (but not the rabbits.) The family would like to thank Team 1 Medical, the nursing and support staff 4th floor and the 6th floor at the University Hospital, London for their care and support. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 11th, 2007 at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.
