BUCHANAN, Nancy Herring, R.N. Peacefully in her eighty-eighth year at Fudger House, Toronto on October 4, 2007. Formerly of Oakville and the Town of Mount Royal, Que. Beloved wife of the late John Anderson Buchanan and sister to Molly (Richard). Loving mother of Peter and his friend Chi of Toronto, and Elizabeth and husband Richard (Joncas) of Arlington Heights, Illinois. Loving grandmother of Tessa and Callie. Daughter of James and Elizabeth Georgina Herring. Special thanks to the staffs of Fudger House, the Ina Grafton Gage Home, and Toronto East General and Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospitals for their assistance. Nancy, who graduated in nursing from Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal, will be fondly remembered by all who knew her for her personal warmth, art, and love of family and friends. Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation if desired. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Sept 13th at 3 p.m. in St. Judes Church in Oakville.
