Mary Elizabeth BURCHILL

MacKENZIE, Mary Elizabeth (nee Burchill) July 18, 1922 - October 8, 2007 The MacKenzie family are saddened to announce the passing of their mother, grandmother and best friend to many. Daughter of the late Florence and Charlie Burchill of Merrickville. Predeceased by her husband Joseph MacKenzie. Left to mourn are her children: Helen Kinsella (Stephen); Darryl (Edna), Lesley Pieroway (Bernard) and her three grandchildren: Tyler (Melissa), California; Craig, Ottawa; and Chelsea, London, UK. She was also predeceased by her brothers Roy and John and by her sister Jessie. She will be sadly missed by many close friends and fondly remembered by her two nieces, Susan Bothwell (Peter) and Sharon Covell (Edward) and her nephew Richard Polk (Ann). The family would like to thank Dr. Lyall Higginson and all the staff of H-5 at the Heart Institute for the exceptional care that they provided to mom over the past 200 days. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean (between Bayshore Dr. and Baseline Rd.) on Friday, October 12th, 2007 from 10 a.m. until time of service.
