STEEN, John Crawford August 3, 1943 - October 10, 2007 John passed away after a brave and courageous battle with cancer in Kingston General Hospital on Wednesday afternoon. John Steen of Amherstview and orginally of Galetta in his 65th year. Predeceased by his wife Cecelia, his parents Claude and Muriel Steen and his sister Isobel. Dear father of John and Joseph, dear grandfather of Jacob. Dear brother of Flora Ann and her husband Gerrit Jansen van Beek, brother-in-law of Victor McBride, dear uncle of Susan Birchall, Victor and James McBride, Gordon and Robert Cobus and several grand nieces and nephews. Resting at The Boyce Funeral Home, Chapel, Visitation and Reception Centre 138 Daniel Street N., Arnprior where friends and family can pay their respects on Sunday 2 to 4 p.m., 7 to 9 p.m. and after 10 a.m. Monday. Funeral Service will be conducted in The Boyce Chapel Monday, October 15, 2007 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Bill Simons officiating. Interment St. Mark's Anglican Cemetery, Pakenham.
