CHAMBERS, Stanley. 1945-2007. Peacefully, with his spouse at his side, at the Jewish General Hospital on Thursday, October 11, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer, Stanley Chambers passed away. Predeceased by his parents Thomas Chambers and Georgette Coulombe, and his brother Johnny. He leaves to mourn his much loved spouse Gilda Martinello, his aunt Madeleine Coulombe, sister-in-law Nicole, nephew Stephane. He will be dearly missed by his mother-in-law Vera, sister-in-law Norma, brother-in-law Howard as well as many relatives and friends. The family will receive condolences at Centre Funeraire Cote-des-Neiges, 4525 Cote des Neiges Road, Montreal, 514-342-8000, on Sunday, October 14, 2007 from 2 to 9 p.m. and on Monday, October 15 from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by a celebration of his life at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the nurses, staff and volunteers of 7NW and the oncology clinic at the Jewish General Hospital. Special thanks to Dr. Gyger and Monica.
