Brian ARKINSTALL

ARKINSTALL, Brian Peacefully and courageously with his loving family by his side on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at the age of 63. Predeceased by his parents Murdoch and Della Arkinstall and his beloved wife Margaret (nee Blaney). Proud and loving father of Murray (Vicki). Cherished brother of Diane Bowman (Dave). He will also be greatly missed by his extended family and his many friends. Brian was retired from the Ontario Ministry of Transportation and was a member of the Governor General's Curling Club. He will be remembered for his countless volunteer contributions to the Glengarry Highland Games and the sport of curling. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore and Baseline Road), Nepean on Tuesday, October 16th from 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. and Wednesday, October 17th from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. with a reception to follow. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses of the Ottawa Civic Hospital ICU for their love, care and support.
