GIBSON, Rose Victoria In Carleton Place, Ontario, on Saturday October 13, 2007, in her 92nd year. It is with profound sadness and sweet sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Rose Victoria Gibson (nee Clifford), peacefully at home with her family by her side. She was the cherished wife, friend, and partner of 65 years to the late Hubert James Gibson. She will remain forever a glowing example of abiding love, strength, courage, genuine caring, kindness, compassion and truth. Her values and example are a torch within the hearts of her children and her children's children, to be carried and passed with respect and dignity. She left this world with grace, embracing all for their special qualities, still teaching life's precious lessons as she walked her final journey. Mom, Nanny - you are our "Wild Irish Rose". Your gift we will cherish and honour forever. Thank you for the privilege of being in your circle. A special thank you to Dr. Scott Higham for his professionalism and devotion.
