WALMSLEY, Alma Irene (nee Thompson). On Saturday, October 13, 2007, passed away after a short illness at Lasalle Hospital at the age of ninety-two. Predeceased by her husband Walter and sisters Jessie Thurston and Phyllis Brennan, loving mother to Peter, grandmother to Alistair and Liam, cherished aunt of Barbara Baker (Graham), great-aunt of Stephen Baker (Marcella), Lynda Thorslund (Keith), great-great aunt to Jeffrey, Neil, Emily and Matthew. She will be sadly missed by her many friends in the community and at Floralies, Lachine. Family will receive friends at Urgel Bourgie, 1750 Notre Dame, Lachine at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2007. Funeral service to follow in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Cremation and interment at a later date at the Field of Honour in Pt. Claire.
