Reinhard Gillner CMA June 27, 1952 - April 15, 2000 Funeral arrangements by Smith's Funeral Service (Guelph Line) Peacefully, at the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, April 15th, 2000, after a courageous battle with cancer. Reinhard Gillner, of Burlington, age 47 years. Loving husband and best friend for 29 years of Laurie (nee Rogers) Gillner. Beloved dad of Scott and his wife Cheryl and Mark and his fiancée Rachel all of Burlington. Doting Grandpa of Kassidy. Beloved only son of Paul and Elfriede Gillner of Etobicoke, Ontario. Adored son-in-law of Frances Rogers of Burlington. Reinhard will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his family, many friends, and all those whose lives he touched. Special thanks to Dr. Keith Comeau (our coach) and to all the staff of Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital Cancer Clinic, especially his angel Jane. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line ( one stop light north of Q.E.W ), Burlington (905-632-3333) Tuesday 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. where Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, April 19th, 2000 at 11 a.m. Cremation with enichement to follow at Halton Hills Memorial Gardens, Burlington. In lieu of flowers, if desired, expressions of sympathy to the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital-Cancer Clinic would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
