Margaret Pausz July 19, 1913 - July 29, 2000 It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Margaret on Saturday, July 29, 2000, in her 88th year, after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved and cherished mother of Margaret and Leslie Petrovics, adoring grandmother of Lisa-Marie Hatchett (Petrovics) and loving great-grandmother of Xavier (Zay) Hatchett. She will be sadly missed by her sister Anne Borbely of Welland and also many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husbands John Gaspar (1948) and Fred (Freci) Pausz (1984), her sisters Mary Curko (Welland), Helen Porga (Wainfleet), Betty Simon (Welland) and Ethel Kovach (Niagara Falls). Margaret was a faithful and devoted member of St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Hungarian Church. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James), Monday and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers on Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held on Wednesday, August 2 at 10 a.m. at St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Hungarian Church, 130 Barton Street East.
