Laura Jeanne Babiski- Varkevisser January 21, 1958 - October 24, 2000 Funeral arrangements by Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home (Ancaster Chapel) Peacefully at home on October 24, 2000 in the loving arms of her husband and friend Jan. Loving, caring and devoted mother of Alexander, age 10, and Nicole, age 7. She will be sadly missed by her mother Doris Southwell and her father Edward Babiski and his wife Doris. Cherished daughter-in-Iaw Wil and Leen Varkevisser. Loved sister of Michael Babiski and his wife Kimberly and Kathryn Babiski. Loved sister-in-law of Ria and her husband Rolof Sluys. Loving aunt to Adriaan, Nathalie and Megan. Loving niece of Pat and John Sally and their daughters Ami and Linzi. Laura will be fondly remembered by her many colleagues and students at McMaster University. During Laura's illness, her circle of friends grew to include many caregivers. Laura will be sadly missed. Friends will be received at DODSWORTH & BROWN Funeral Home, ANCASTER CHAPEL, 378 Wilson Street East Wednesday and Thursday, 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, October 29th at 2 p.m. at Ryerson United Church, Ancaster.
