Wayne Burton December 05, 1946 - November 07, 2000 It is with great sorrow, that Patricia announces the death of her best friend and husband, on November 7, 2000, at home surrounded by his family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Wayne, loving husband of Patricia. Beloved father of Chad and his wife Michelle, Connie and her husband Paul Leroux, and Shelly and Tamer. Cherished Poppy of Caitlin, Taylor, Shayne, Megan, Matthew and Chelsea. Dear son of Helen and the late Wilson, and brother of Marg and her husband Ron Stead, and Lynn and her husband Rob Trentadue. Service was held on Saturday, November 11 at St. Mark’s United Church (201 Centre St. South, Whitby), at 1 p.m. ”THE SONG HAS ENDED, BUT THE MELODY LIVES ON.”
