George William Burch October 29, 1923 - November 17, 2000 Funeral arrangements by L. G. Wallace Funeral Home Peacefully passed away at Joseph Brant Hospital on November 17, 2000 at the age of 77. Beloved husband and best friend of Doreen of fifty-two years. Loving father of George and Debbie, Philip and Diane, Russ and Barb, Gerald, Len and Tammy, Allan and Rebecca. Proud grandfather of ten grand-children. Will be sadly missed by his many friends and co-workers at Ford Motor Company where he was employed for twenty-eight years. George was a past member of the Lincoln-Welland Regiment, serving his country proudly during World War II. He will greatly missed by all who knew him. Friends will be received at L.G. Wallace FUNERAL HOME, 151 Ottawa Street North (544-1147) on Saturday from 7-9 p.m., Sunday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Monday at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
