HANSEN, DOROTHY E. - The death of Dorothy E. Hansen of Hampton, widow of Hans Hansen occurred October 13, 2007 at Great Oaks Special Care Home, Wickham. She was born in St. Martins, daughter of the late Frederick and Rebecca (McLeod) Bennett. Dorothy was a member of Hampton Seniors Resource Centre and Atlantic Mission Society. She is survived by one daughter, Faye Barton (Hazen), Hampton; two sons, Edward Hansen (Beatrice) and Philip Hansen (Bernetta), Hampton; one sister, Jean Wong, Sarnia, ON; eight grandchildren, Scott Barton, Sherry Patterson (Terry), Susan Hansen, Sandy Harding (Andrew), Shelly Mullin (Joey), Edward Hansen, Andrew Hansen, Sara Hansen; fourteen great grandchildren; one great great grandson; several nieces and nephews including special niece, Anne Patterson (Carl). She was predeceased by three sisters and four brothers. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Tuesday, 1:00 pm at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church with Rev. Kent Burdett officiating. Interment in Hampton Rural Cemetery.
