Mary Edith McKinley 1929-2007 Mary Edith (Eddie) McKinley, 78 of Upper Coverdale, passed away peacefully at home after a lengthy illness on Friday, October 12th, 2007. Born in Regina, Sask., she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Hall) Hamilton. She was a former employee for many years with Bruce Southerland Assoc, as an administrator and later co-owner of Seaboard Hydraulics until her retirement. She will always be remembered by her grandchildren as "grandma" and enjoyed greatly family gatherings at her house with family and friends. She took great pleasure in gardening and quiet summer evenings sitting on her back porch. She will be sadly missed by four daughters; Lynn of Toronto, Lana Oleksiuk and Christina McCarthy (Dan) of Riverview, and Dawn Smith (Laurie Bourque) of Salisbury and son Michael (Jeannie) of Calgary, AB; 23 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Eldon; brother, William Hamilton; and son, Mark. Family and friends will gather at Fair Haven Funeral Home in the Garden View Room on Wednesday, October 17th at 3:45 p.m. prior to the graveside interment service at 4:00 p.m., to be followed by a reception in the Funeral Home. In Edith's memory donations to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
