Clement Harry Guimond November 23, 1951 - October 15, 2007 Peacefully in his sleep, Clem left us to be reunited with his parents and family. Left to mourn are Clem’s children, Raymond (Ernestine), Laurie (Kandis) and Elaine (Richard), as well as his brothers and sisters, Violet, Meg (Tony), Rita, Marge (Danny), Margaret (Basil), Lawrence, Charles (Bev) and Aunt Betsy Patrick. Also his eight grand-children, Marnie, Austin, Cameron, Jared, Sheldon, Tristen, Sharon and Clara. His special girls Barbara, Nancy, Eileen, Angle, Jackie, Anita and Wendy and numerous nieces and nephews. Clem was predeceased by his parents, Boniface and Elizabeth; wife, Marnie; brothers, Sonny, Wayne; sister, Viola; nephews, Pixie, Vince, Timothy and Clinton. Also, predeceased by numerous nieces and nephews, his special friend Jean Trout and six brothers-in-law, Henry, Wally, Doug, Charlie, Pop and Jacques. If you met Clem, you knew that he was a very special, kind, generous and caring man. If it came down to it, Clem would have given you his shirt off his back. (Thanks Clem) Prayers will be held on Wednesday, October 17th, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. at Prairieland Aboriginal Funeral Home, 1020 Main Street (Manitoba Avenue). Wake services will be held on Thursday and Friday, October 18th and 19th at St. Alexander Roman Catholic Church in Sagkeeng. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at 11:00 a.m., interment to follow. The family would like to thank Jeff, Skunky and the caregivers who took good care of Clem during his illness. Also thanks to the staff at the Dialysis unit at the Health Science Centre. Active pallbearers: Jeff Houston, Lawrence Guimond, Leonard Fontaine, Patrick Starr, Elvis Perreault and Angelo Guimond. Honorary pallbearers will be his sons, Raymond and Laurie and all of Clem’s family and friends.
