CREASER, EDITH MILLICENT (STACKHOUSE) - passed away peacefully on October 18th, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital at the age of 69. Survived by her husband Edward; daughter Catherine MacDonald; son David (Krista); five grandchildren; Brittany, Lauren, Amy, Ryan and Matthew. Predeceased by her parents J. Richard Stackhouse and Annie (Scott) Stackhouse, brothers; Fred, George, Edward, Harold and Lloyd. Surviving are sisters Muriel, Marjorie (Calvin), of Saint John, Laura (Hartin) of Perry Point, Evelyn (Allison) Schaffer of Saint John, Linda (John) Wilson of Ottawa, brothers Ronald of Saint John, and Bruce of Back Bay. Several nieces and nephews. Edith was active in school sports and an accomplished soloist having received numerous awards from the New Brunswick Festival of Music. She worked as a secretary for several years and then as a volunteer in several hospitals. Funeral arrangements are under the professional care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John NB. (646-2424) By the families request, cremation has taken place and visitations will be held at the funeral home on Sunday October 21st, from 2- 4 & 7- 9 pm.. A Memorial service will be held on Monday October 22nd, 2007 at 2:00 pm. at the Fundy Funeral Home "Chapel". Interment will be held at Cedar Hill Ext. following the service.
