Philippe Leger 1925-2007 GRANDE DIGUE, NB - Philippe Leger, 82, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on October 18th, 2007 after a brief illness. Born on January 10th, 1925 in Grand Digue, he was the son of the late Auguste Leger and the late Ida Breau. He was a retired fisherman who attended La Visitation Roman Catholic Church, Grande Digue. He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Leger; three sons, Joseph and Yvon (Christine) of Grand Digue, and Eugene (Lise) of Scoudouc; one grandchild, Joline. He was predeceased by one brother, Edgar; three half brothers, Andre, Arthur, and Freddy; five half sisters, Cordilia, Rita, Leona, Euphemie, Lyda. By request of the family there will be no visiting time at the funeral. The funeral Service will be held at La Visitation Roman Catholic Church, Grande Digue, on Monday, October 22nd at 6:30 pm. If so desired, memorial donation, to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Lung Association would be appreciated.
