Jeffery Edward Michael Petrasko March 13, 1973 - October 16, 2007 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jeffery Petrasko, our beloved son, brother, nephew and friend at the age of 34. He will be forever remembered by his loving mother Zenia, father Edward; brother James (Kristine); all the extended family and his many close friends. Jeffery will also be sadly missed by his cat Grumpy and the “cousins “ Kali, BeBe, Biscuit and Precious. He was born, raised and lived in the North Kildonan area of Winnipeg. As a young person he attended Maple Leaf Elementary School, Chief Peguis Jr. High School and the River East Collegiate High School. Jeffery was a very passionate, sensitive, adventurous and spontaneous person. He had a vibrant love for life. He loved to travel and hang out with his family and friends; and over the past year has had many opportunities to do so. Along with his loving heart he had the most creative mind. He demonstrated amazing creativity with his art, writing, poetry and music in his life and his work. Most recently he had excelled in computer graphics and film making opportunities. His love for electronics and graphics began at a very young age, which led to his great successes. We want everyone to know that he loved his family and friends with all his heart and that his happiest moments were spent with those he cherished the most. Special thanks to all the family and friends who spent time with him over the last two weeks of his life sharing special memories with him and surrounding him with love. Cremation has taken place. Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 20, at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeff Brussé, Josh Morrow, Scott McLaughlin, Rob McDougall, Rod Fraser, Rod Chandler, Tony Lovetri and Doug Hamm. As a huge animal lover, we ask that people who are interested in donating in his honour would do so towards the Winnipeg Humane Society. We will always love you Jeff and we are so proud of everything you became. You will always be in our hearts.
