STEELE, Leona - In hospital Pembroke on Tuesday, October 16th, 2007 in her 81st year. Leona Steele (nee Brunette) of Pembroke, beloved wife of the late George Steele. Loving mother of Linda (Mike) Thompson of Sutton and Bessie (Albert) Durdle of Pembroke. Special grandmother to George, Mary (Chris), Kerry (Adam) and Anderson (Carla). Special great grandmother to Krista, Kaitlin, Michael, Jolene and Remington. Dear sister of Loretta Beaudry, and Victor, Kay, Paul and Bessie Brunette. Predeceased by sisters Cecile Neville, Ida Mae Caughey and Regina Smith and by brothers Bud and Joe Brunette. Visitation at the NEVILLE FUNERAL HOME, 491 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at The Church of the Most Holy Name of Jesus, Pembroke on Friday, October 19th, 2007 at 10:30 a.m., followed by cremation.
