TOBIAS, Irene - Peacefully, at Bluewater Health - C.E.E. Site, Petrolia, on Saturday, October 27, 2007. IRENE TOBIAS (nee Brittain), 90 years, of Petrolia. Beloved wife of the late Vaughn Tobias (1987). Loving mother of Joanne and the late Ed (2006) Sim of Petrolia. Cherished grandmother to Patti and Frank Rabley of Burlington, Catherine and Paul Gulliver of Mississauga, Douglas Sim of Sarnia and James and Barbara Sim of Germany and great grandmother to Madison and Jana. Dear sister of Doris McKellar of Chatham and the late Sidney Brittain (2001), Dorothy Knowler (2003), Laura Turner (1999), Harvey Brittain (2001), Charles Brittain (2001), Beatrice Dickinson (1958) and Ronald Brittain (1998). Dear sister-in-law to Velma Brittain of Bothwell, Betty Brittain of Bothwell and Donald Turner of London. Visitors will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the NEEDHAM-JAY FUNERAL HOME, Petrolia, where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Nancy Adams of Christ Anglican Church officiating. Interment in Hillsdale Cemetery, Petrolia.
