POTTER, Edward Allan - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Edward Potter on Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at Fairhaven Nursing Home. Beloved husband of Louise Potter. Loving father of John (Kathy), Bill (Lisa) and Kathryn (Mark Trus). Cherished grandfather of Joel (Alison), Amy, Kaitlin, Sarah, Thomas, Christopher, Alexandra and Samantha. Brother of David (Pat) and predeceased by Victor. Step brother of Alva (Melvin Knibbs). Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews. Edward was a 41 year employee at General Electric. Edward's passion as a Lay Pastor was in serving congregations in Fenelon Falls, Baddow, Selwyn, Norwood and Peterborough over a 40 year period. In later years Edward was an active member of Park Street Baptist Church. Edward was also a former leader with the Knox United Church Scouting movement. Friends will be received at the NISBETT FUNERAL HOME (600 Monaghan Rd. S.) on Friday, November 2, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at Park St. Baptist Church (16 Park St. N.) at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Little Lake Cemetery. In memory of Edward, donations may be made to Kawartha Youth Unlimited. 10887363
