RISHOR, Ella May - Peacefully, at Royal Gardens, on Thursday, November 1, 2007 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Max Rishor (1987). Dear mother of Diane Minor (Harold Coward) and Barb McAuliffe (the late Gerard). Sister of Aileen Baker of Peterborough and Donald Sisson (Helen) of Australia. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Ella was a member of I.O.D.E. Jeanette Scott Chapter, an avid gardener, knitter, bridge player and excelled at crossword puzzles and scrabble. She loved to entertain her family and friends at her cottage on Clear Lake. Ella and Max were world travelers, embracing life and living it to its fullest. Ella or “Nana”, as she was known to many, will be remembered in our hearts for the joy and love she had for her family, wide circle of friends, animals, and her “Maxie.” The family would like to thank the staff of Royal Gardens for their care and compassion. A graveside service will be held at Little Lake Cemetery on Monday, November 5, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the I.O.D.E. Jeanette Scott Chapter, the Heart & Stroke Foundation or charity of choice.
