LANE, Robert Roy (C.G.E. - Machinist 42 years) - Peacefully surrounded by his family, went home to be with his Lord, on Sunday, November 4, 2007 at Extendicare, at 86 years of age. Beloved husband and best friend of Betty (nee Sands) for 64 years. Loving father of Bob (Pam), Jim (Paula) and Jeannie Wells. Dear Papa of Stephen (Stacey), David (Laurie), Jennifer (Miles), Sarah (Bill), Katharine and Michael. Great-Papa of Emma, Bobby, Seth, Kyla, Cailey and Mia. Brother-in-law of Martha and Paul Wicks and Jim and Evelyn Sands. Roy was predeceased by his parents Herbert and Elsie and his sister Nancy. Friends may call on Wednesday from 7-9 pm at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street and Thursday, November 8, 2007 at PARK STREET BAPTIST CHURCH, 16 Park Street North, from 1:30 until the time of the funeral service at 2:30 pm.
