CARSON, Frank - Received peacefully into the arms of his Lord and Saviour, at Vision Nursing Home on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 Frank Stinson Carson, age 86 of Sarnia. United with his beloved wife Gloria of 57 years. Frank was born on the Carson Homestead near Valparaiso, Sask. in 1921 and moved to Ontario in 1942 where he worked at Polysar for 39 years and retired as a carpenter. He was a long time member of Bethel Pentecostal Church. Beloved husband of the late Gloria Elizabeth (Church) Carson (2004). Loving father of Maurice Carson and his wife Leigh of Sarnia, Glenn Carson and his wife Dianne of Point Edward, Lorraine and her husband Harry Willemse of Forest and Mayson Carson and his wife Beth of Sarnia. Cherished grandfather of Emma, Owen and Evan Carson, Cynthia and Richard Preece, Angelina and Scott Atkin, Carson and Leah Willemse, Anna, Johnny and Lydia Willemse, Sarah Carson, Shannon Carson and Fraser Carson. Loved great-grandfather of Ayden, Dyson and Carter. Dear brother of Edna Korpan and the late Nick, Lorne Carson and the late Gizella and Beatrice Bates and her husband Donald all of Saskatchewan. Special brother-in- law to Dorothy Thomas. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Albert and Susan (Wolsey) Carson, his sister Florence Carson (2006) and his brother Ray Carson (1930). Family and friends will be received at SMITH FUNERAL HOME on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4 and evening from 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Monday, November 12, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Irwin Cemetery Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Vision Nursing Home Activity Fund.
