LECLAIR, Ida (nee St. Jules) - of Espanola passed away suddenly on October 21, 2007 in the Blind River Hospital at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence (1991). Loving mother of Fred (Patricia) of Ottawa, Ted (Willa) of Sault Ste. Marie, Linda (Bernardo Cocchiola) of Sault Ste. Marie, Dan (Helene) of Sault Ste. Marie, Denise (Richard Bona) of Sudbury, Rene (Theresa) of Sault Ste. Marie, Roland (Gwen) of Espanola, Marcel (Kelly) of Espanola, Larry of Espanola, the late Armand (1999) (Brenda), the late Maurice (2006). Cherished grandmother of 22 grandchildren and 8 greatgrandchildren. Dear sister of Yvonne, Rita, Arthur, and Jeanette. Predeceased by Rudolphe, Raymonde, Leona, Roland and Emile. Ida will also be sadly missed by many friends and relatives. Ida played an integral role in the formation of the Espanola Chapter of the Ontario Association for the Mentally Handicapped, now known as Espanola Community Living and continued to be actively involved to this day. She also volunteered with the Catholic Women's League, Legion Auxiliary, and enjoyed playing her Hawaiian guitar at the Seniors Complex and the group homes. She was also a Trustee on the Espanola Board of Education. Visitation will be held at the BOURCIER FUNERAL HOME, Espanola Thursday October 25th, 2007 from 2-4 P.M. and 7-9 P.M. Funeral service will be Friday at 10 A.M. on October 26th at St. Jude R.C. Church with Fr. Gilles Grandmont officiating. Burial in the Espanola Cemetery. Donations made to Espanola Community Living and or Northern Cancer Research would be appreciated by the family. 10874502
