CARROLL, Leonard Leroy - In loving memory of Leonard Leroy Carroll, age 70 years. It is with great sorrow that the family announces his death, Tuesday, November 6th, 2007. Born in Lantz, Nova Scotia, he married Theresa (Tobin) Carroll in 1959 and they moved to Garson in 1960. Loving father of Cathy (husband Jake Steele), Maureen (husband Russell Watson), Reg (wife Carolyn), Patti-Jo (husband Gord Bradley), Brian (Chantal), Karen (friend Andrew Dunn), Wade (Angie) and Edward. Cherished grandfather and sadly missed by Joey and Amanda Steele, Nicole, Lisa, Elly, Sophia and Annie Watson, Joey Quackenbush, Lacey Carroll, Michael and Megan Bradley, Lauren and Jonathan Lalonde, Wesley Carroll, Edward and Darren Carroll and their mom Jen, and great grandchildren Madison Cayer. Dear brother of Albert (wife Lise), Billy (wife Marilyn), predeceased by Laurie, Myles (wife Kay), Frank (wife Anna) and Diane (husband Ronnie MacDonnell). Predeceased by parents Norman and Edna, daughters in law Nicole Lafrance and Melanie Grant Carroll. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Leonard worked at INCO for over 27 years at Garson Mine, retiring in 1988 as a member of the Quarter Century Club. He enjoyed hunting fishing and camping. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St. Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel. Friday, November 9th, 2007 at 7 p.m. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium.
