RUSSELL, Gary Allen - In loving memory of Gary Allen Russell, 67 years, who passed away Sunday, November 4th, 2007 at his home. Beloved husband of Karen (Archer) Russell of Dowling. Loving father of Darren (wife Debby) of Nevada and Stephanie (husband Bobby Beauregard) of Dowling. Cherished grandfather of Chelsea, Sabrina, Andrew and Abbi. Dear son of Roy and Mary Russell both predeceased. Dear brother of Maroy “Nellie“ Perdue of London. Sadly missed by his canine pal Jasper. Born in London, Ontario, Gary retired in 1997 with 30 years service as the Industrial Engineering Supervisor at Falconbridge Nickel Mine. He was a Union Steward and member of the Negotiating Team with Steelworkers Union #6855. Gary was proud to receive the Golden Falcon Award in 1991. He was an avid photographer and always interested in his community, active with the Dowling Winter Carnival. He was a Captain with the Onaping Falls Volunteer Fire Department and a past member of the First Aid Team. Memorial Visitation at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury Saturday, November 10th, 2007 from 2-5 p.m. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium.
