LANCASTER, Robert (Bob) Leo - Peacefully surrounded by loving family at the Brantford General Hospital on Monday, October 22, 2007. Robert (Bob) Leo Lancaster in his 68th year. Bob was predeceased by his parents Lorne and May. Survived by his wife Ruth of 33 years; sons Robert (Vicky), Murray, Tim and daughter Barbie-Anne Bradley (James); Cherished Papa of Mathew and Dillon. Bob is also survived by his stepchildren Alan Winter (Arlene), Gail McCaffrey (Pat), Michael Winter (Sheila) and Sharon Winter (Paul) and their children Joe, Sean, Ciara, Colleen, Jason and Mark. Brother of Ken, Keith (Linda) and Ron. Uncle to Stephen, Jeremy, Marty, Melissa, Nathan, Ron Jr., Terry and Sara. He was an active member of the community; serving as an Alderman, chairing the Police Service Board, the Airport Commission, and serving on many other boards as well as fundraising for many local organizations. After retiring from his construction company of 19 years Bob was a Realtor running his own company for over twenty years. Bob was an avid curler playing in many leagues throughout each winter. Friends will be received at DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street on Thursday from 2 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm. Service in the Chapel on Friday, October 26th at 11:00 am. Interment Wilsonville Cemetery.
